The fix isn't more pressure. High pressure on mortar joints, stucco and painted trim does damage you'll notice later. It's a soft wash with the right mix, given time to work, then rinsed. And it's a timing question. The shaded side needs attention more often than the sunny side, so it gets it on the rotation rather than everything getting one identical pass a year.
I had the gutters cleaned in November and they were full again by January. Is something wrong?+
No. That's a wooded lot. On an open lot the load is leaves in the fall and that's mostly it. Under mature trees you get leaves, then twigs, then acorns, then small limbs after every wind event, and it keeps coming through the winter. Twigs and acorns also pack tighter than leaves, so a gutter can look clear from the ground and still be holding water at the downspout. What matters more than any one cleaning is how often somebody is actually up there. On a heavily treed Colleyville lot, plan on more than one pass, and have the valleys checked at the same time. Litter sitting wet in a valley is what starts the dark streaking you see later.
Will washing the house and the drive hurt my trees?+
Not if whoever's holding the hose thinks about where the water ends up, and that's the part most people skip. The risk isn't the cleaning mix. It's a few hundred gallons pooling at the base of a mature trunk, or a truck and ladders parked on soil right over the roots. Beds get wet down before the work and rinsed after.
